Santa Claus is on his way...

Well Christmas is just around the corner!!! I can not believe how fast this year has went by. We had my Mothers Family Christmas get together this past weekend and it was intresting as always. The kids had thier Christmas program at school and Nolan had to be the last minute stand-in for the donkey. He was not happy about it!!! He was so darn cute though. I was very proud that he was a good sport and donned the donkey outfit for the play. No manger is complete without the donkey!!! Here are some pics....I hope eveyone has a great and safe holiday...

Macies first hair cut :(

Well I finally broke down and got Macies hair cut. I was very hard for me to cut off those baby ends...but I knew it must happen here are some pics from her first salon day. Lynn my sister in-law's sister, who is also does my hair was given the honors of cutting the tresses from my baby girl.

Macie did very well.. and so did Lynn. She still is cute as a button.

If I had more kids I could have had the entire cast of HEROS... But "Save the cheerleader save the world" Macie took her own security with her Trick or Treating this year!! They had lots of fun and I loved eating all thier candy :) Just Kidding!!!

Fall Fest 2008

Yesterday afternoon we took the kids to the "West Side Nut Club Annual Fall Festival". It is the second largest street festival in America second only to "Mardi-Gras". Except ours is much more "FamilyFriendly".

Even thogh times are tight for us, we decided one short trip we could afford. Since the kids are not yet into the food it is still affordable. The kids rode just a few rides but loved playing the games the most. Of course they had to play the fish toss game (which in the past never won), so I was ok with that. They won FOUR darn fish (actually three but one bag ended up having two fish in it). What are the odds!!! It was my fault I jixed it by saying they won't win. Macie got the bag with two fish in it and thier names are Mommy & Baby (one is much bigger than the other therefore she thinks they must be mommy & baby). Nolan named his Sally & Nemo ( not sure which is which on his). I did get my "Brain Sandwich"..... YUMMY!!! Bob & the kids had a corn dog.

The kids had fun...and have no idea it is here all week and that works to our advantage right now. :).... Here are some more pics...

You are growing so fast it seems I can not keep up.
Yesterday you were so small your little fingers barely wrapping one of mine.
Today you argue with one another,
Jumping on beds & going to school.
Learning new things everyday, and teaching me more than I ever imagined understanding.
Tomorrow I will wake up and you will be grown.
The toys from my living room floor will have disappeared, the sippy cups long gone.
No more Soccer games or Ballet lessons,
No more boo-boo's to kiss or scary nights to rock you through.
Every momment of your lives are my greatest treasures.

The Kids had a GREAT summer

Summer is over and Autum has arrived!!! The kids had a good Summer..full of fun!!

They played on thier new swing set, that is AWESOME. See the pictures above!! Lot's of outside activities this year which was great for them. Discovering frogs in our yard and ducks in the nearby lake. They love to take walks and explore the Neighborhood.

Unfortunaly they have also discovered there are bugs that are ALIVE outside and they are sure they will be ate by a spider!!! All in all they love the outdoors!

Macie started pre-school this year. She is adjusting very well and ALL the teachers think she hung the moon (if they only knew):)!!

Nolan is in Soccer this fall and loves it. He made his first goal last saturday and I screamed and jumped up and down like a fool...I was very proud of him. He is also begining to read and do addition which we are also working on at home. He really loves math and is catching on so fast. Sometimes I forget he is only four...

How's the kiddos?

Well everyone is doing well. We are are all glad warm weather is back and the kids can go out side to play.

As you can see we recently made our way to Florida and had a wonderful time. We stayed at my dads house down there and made a dy trip to Disney. The kids had so much fun and Mickey and Minnie were so glad to see them :)!!!

It was a whirlwind day, but they they had a blast and we had a blast watching them!

My Dad joined us on the trip and I know he will hold those memories of just hangin out with the kiddos at the house blowing bubbles and swinging in the tree swing close to his heart forever and I know I will! :)

Friday is Nolan's last day of Pre-school!!! OMG!!! Monday he had a field trip to the zoo and I tagged along. Here are some pics from our trip.

By the way Saturday we leave for Florida and Tuesday we are going to DISNEY!!!
