Well here it is the very last day of the year and I just realized my last post was in the SPRING!!! So here we go....
Well the trip to Disney was interesting to say the least. It had not rained in Florida for months but no worries we took plenty of rain with us. It rained for the entire week...not the normal Florida rain...non-stop torrential downpour rain!!! We (the kids) still had a wonderful time and my mother and I enjoyed watching them take in what they could. We ate with the princesses and did our own version of bibidi bobidi boo in our room. Macie was Cinderella with magic dust and all. We stayed at WDW which is the only way to go if you are going to do the whole Disney thing. We were lucky enough to be there during a Star Wars weekend and Nolan was in heaven seeing
The Real Darth Vader ;) and Luke and Leigha(sp?) unfortunately due to the torrential rain chewy was unable to come out to visit with us. We also managed to hit the beach (where there was no rain) before we headed home. On the way home though the serpentine belt broke and we had to drive home with out air....FUN TIMES!!! No really all in all we did make allot of magical memories.
The rest of the summer was relaxed and full of swimming and trips to the zoo, lunches with friends, riding bicycles, blowing bubbles and spending time together.
Soon enough though we were crowding fall and I got a job at walmart and Nolan had his first day of kindergarten which was very hard for me and Macie went back to Pre-school. Slowly clouds parted and the world has started to look better for our little family. bob is now the Parts manager at D-Patrick Ford and is soon going to be handling Ford, Lincoln & Mercury which is WONDERFUL news for us with this economy. I myself got a better job at Meritain Health with great pay no weekends and holidays off...and HEALTH INSURANCE!!!
The kids must have been good this year because Santa was way to generous and I am afraid we may be setting the standard a little to high ;).
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and has a great New Year!!!
Pics will follow soon...
