We had a great vacation in 2010. We went to Florida and papaw Cliff tagged along with us. It was great fun we mostly hung out at papaws house and went swimming but we did make it to Sea World one day. It was crazy hot outside!!! But we had a ton of fun...Shamu, dolphins, sea lions and so much more. Nolan said he is going to take his kids there when he grows up! We also ran into our neighbors at Sea World...whats the odds of that!!
We also went to Silver Springs in Ocala, FL. I can honestly say it was not what it showed on the Internet. But it did have some neat things to see like an albino alligator, glass bottom boat so that you can see the springs and very pretty landscape.
We tried the beach but with the oil spill it was not a very pretty destination.
Macie would have gladly just stayed in papaws pool the entire time and can not wait to get back!!Nolan liked it too but stayed close to the edge!
Nolan also played baseball this year in the spring and the fall and did great. So proud of him and he really seems to enjoy it and is looking forward to spring so he can play again.
Macie started gymnastics and has already moved up three classes. She constantly jumping around and LOVES it. She also played soccer this past fall and she seemed to be a natural.

Merry Christmas

I can not believe I have not blogged all year!! So I guess that means I will have to play catch up for a few days.

Nolan has grown so much this year it is unbelievable! He is racking up the cash from the tooth fairy too. She is going broke ;). First grade started off bumby but is getting much better and he is making straight A's. The full day was tough at the beginning. Nolan has certainly moved up in the toy world from Thomas to Harry Potter (He still LOVES trains) and all super heroes. Reading is a big thing now too. Gone are the days we could spell things to keep the kids from knowing what we were talking about. At first I was worried about him not catching on but no worries now he is reading everything!! He is super excited for Christmas. He has been a very good little boy so I know Santa will be good to him ;).

Macie is even more DIVA this year than she was last if that is at all possible. This year was a little more difficult for her. We found out she is almost blind in her right eye so glasses were a must and she has to wear a patch over her left eye which is a challenge. Regardless she is beautiful and is being a trooper. Macie LOVES make-up and dress-up and is still into the princess thing. For Halloween we she was Snow White, Ariel & Cinderella! She is taking gymnastics and is doing wonderful. I am so proud of her. She is the smallest one in her class but she has no trouble keeping up.
